Reverse logistic for over 400 retail stores in the U.S. and U.S. territories 2. Capable of managing over 30,000 carton (average 29" x 17" x 12" 40 lbs) returns annually 3. Competent with the administering of company store return policy (to be furnished once 3PL is qualified as potential provider) 4. 3PL staff needs to be proficient in communicating with retail stores and corporate offices 5. Qualified to handle store-to-store transfers 6. Central distribution center located in western United States 7. Web access and tracking - complete visibility of return to receipt to final disposition - ability for immediate status of the return in the RL process mandatory 8. Reporting - ability to provide immediate incomplete/complete shipment status essential - shipment should generate/trigger automatic "Proof of Shipment" 9. Invoicing - receipts to be submitted with store specific and company business unit account information 10. Necessary resources to guide possible future implementation in wholesale returns and store deliveries. Implementation would be rolled out as Phase II wholesale returns - Phase III store deliveries. All forward logistics operations is either new or restocked equipment sourced using the company's inventory management system, excluding the RMA processes (repair & return) currently outsourced. The assets are used and/or excess telecom equipment of which the 3PL or 3PSP will be required to receive, identify parts (electronic cards, power supplies, modems, cabinets, frames and routers) and determine final disposition. The anticipated volume within a year is approximately 50,000 pieces. The problem: We distribue a comparatively low volume of high dollar value product to end users and distribiutors in the Canadian market. Current reverse logistics services are provided from the US. Unacceptable delays in customer service are being experienced. The Solution: Your services within Canada to receive returned product from our Canadian customers and redistribute new/refurbished product within an acceptable time frame. Times will vary by product but are between 24 and 72 hours of receipt of ship request. Immediate need is for 3 product lines, about 12-15 part numbers.
