Ishak Kang is the Founder and CEO of Vox UI. Based in San Francisco, Vox UI develops speaker-independent voice recognition systems designed to interface with today's leading residential systems. In 2001, Mr. Kang founded and served as president of High Definition Home in San Rafael, California, a custom integration company which earned placement on the CE Pro 100 in just its second year of operation. Mr. Kang's residential clients include some of the nation's most influential technology industry leaders and trend-setters. He also chairs the Social Networking Committee for the Consumer Electronics Association's Small Business Council and develops technology standards such as pluggable and task-based User Interfaces to consumer electronics. He also has extensive experience as a Value Added Reseller providing IT consulting, and Web Development and Design for corporations such as Salon.com, Intel, Porsche and Toyota.

The Consumer Electronics Committee is organized to promote and share knowledge across the industry and continually explore new ideas to achieve total optimization of Consumer Electronics reverse logistics practices including green procurement, product returns processes, refurbishing and depot repair (as applicable), reverse logistics to maximize recycling, minimize waste, and emphasize green disposal. The committee will strive to improve awareness across organizations through education, workshops, white papers, and direct communication on best practices, development of standards, common practice and member experiences.
