David Douthit is an executive in Accenture’s Supply Chain Management Service Line where he is the Lead for Reverse Logistics and Repair. With more than 20 years expertise, David has advised global enterprise clients on supply chain issues related to customer support and service. His career know-how includes supply chain management and strategy, 3rd party logistics, warehouse operations, service parts logistics, transportation, and electronics contract manufacturing. His work is hailed for his many successes in designing, implementing and managing global supply chains for a variety of OEMs. David earned his BS degree from San Diego State University in Business Administration— Finance and is based in San Jose, CA.
The Consumer Electronics Committee is organized to promote and share knowledge across the industry and continually explore new ideas to achieve total optimization of Consumer Electronics reverse logistics practices including green procurement, product returns processes, refurbishing and depot repair (as applicable), reverse logistics to maximize recycling, minimize waste, and emphasize green disposal. The committee will strive to improve awareness across organizations through education, workshops, white papers, and direct communication on best practices, development of standards, common practice and member experiences.
