Mr Deepak Kumar Sareen is presently Executive Director of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), India’s premier export promotion organization, having membership base of over 2300 companies, in the field of Information Technology and Electronics, sponsored by the Government of India.
Mr Sareen has over 22 years of professional experience in several assignments related to foreign trade and development, market study and research, with over 18 years’ experience in export promotion of Computer Software, Information Technology and Electronics. He was associated with ET&T Corporation Ltd, a Government of India enterprise, from 1982 to 1989, where he successfully established and managed the US Office Operations from the State of California in Information Technology and Electronics areas.
During his tenure with ESC, Mr Sareen has been assisting Indian exporters, specially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in their initial market development activities and export by providing Advisory Services concerning characteristics of market, niche areas for focused attention and business library to enable companies for their interface with buyers.
Mr Sareen is a Bachelor in Engineering in Electronics & Communications, and a post-graduate in Marketing Management from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Focus Committees were set up to provide a standing Forum for Reverse Logistics Professionals to meet on a regional and global basis, and discuss common Reverse Logistics issues at the RLA Events.
